This is how you download a backup of your website
To download your website files, you will need to copy the files from the /public/sites/www.yourdomainname.ext/ folder, located on our web server, to your computer. You can choose which folder on your computer you copy these files to.
To do this, follow these steps:
- In the right pane, double-click the public folder.
- Double-click the Sites folder. You will now see a folder with the name of your domain name. Your website files are in this folder. If you have 1 Web hosting package, you will see 1 folder here. If you have multiple Web hosting packages, you will see multiple folders.
- In the left window, open the desired folder on your computer in which you want to save the backup.
- Drag the folder with your domain name from the right window (our web server) to the desired folder in the left window (your computer).
- The backup of your website has now been downloaded to the folder on your computer.
Please note: is your website linked to a database? Then it is also necessary to download a backup of your database.
