If you have a hosting package on one of our Plesk servers and your email addresses have been created within that package, use the following settings:
IMAP/POP:
- Incoming mail server: domain name.ext
- username: your full email address
- password: your password
- use TLS: ON
- server port: 993 (IMAP, our preference)
- alternate server port: 995 (POP3)
SMTP:
- Outgoing mail server: domain name.ext
- username: your full email address
- password: your password
- use TLS: ON
- server port: 587 (STARTTLS, our preference)
- alternate server port: 465 (SSL)
The mail server for incoming email can be used for both IMAP and POP3. Select the desired protocol in your mail client. For both incoming and outgoing mail, the username and password will have to be entered.
Your webmail can also be found at: https://roundcube.yourdomainprovider.net
Logging into the email requires the full email address created as username and password created for that email. Via the options at the top right, the Roundcube environment offers: an address book, a calendar and the settings (with which, among other things, rules can be set for the processing of the mail and Out-of-Office replies).
NB! To use the above, a certificate must be set up that is also active for the mail. You can do this yourself in one of two ways:
How to change password for the email
The email is still running on the Plesk servers. So to change the password for the e-mail, you will have to log in to the Plesk environment.
- Once you are logged in to Plesk, choose Mail Accounts
- In the list of email addresses, click on the address that needs a new password
- Enter the new password at "Password" and "Confirm password" and save with OK
- You can also choose a strong password created by Plesk. For that, click on the "Generate" button (and then "Show" to see it, copy it and save it).
NB! Current Plesk security settings require a strong password (minimum 12 characters, with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation marks)
