We no longer use SpamAssassin for filtering spam. Instead, all mail is routed through our Baruwa filter.
If your domain is not added to Baruwa, and need a Spam Filter, you can login to Baruwa to add your domain.
If you are expecting and email and didn't receive, you can log in to Baruwa's web interface to see what has (possibly) been blocked, and to release it where necessary.
The login is done through https://filter.yourdomainprovider.net/ with your email personalized and the email password as well.
For example: if you have email yourdomain.net added, and have 2 emails, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org you are able to log in with both of them, since they will generate different logs as explained below.
If you cannot access, and it returns an error message, your domain might not be added. Contact our team so we can help you.
Once your domain is already added to Baruwa and it is using its filter, it is possible to release false-positive spams, block specific emails, and more.
You have 4 main topics:
- Full message list: You can see all the messages that arrived at your inbox or were blocked as spam or possible spam. You can also click on the messages to release and mark the sender to not be blocked any more.
- Quarantine: You can check all messages that were stopped by the filter and select to release or delete more than one email altogether.
Pretty straight forward, you have approved senders, that you selected to release, banned senders and also the option to add the sender to a list to avoid any futures blocks.
It is a general report where you can see the top senders, spam score distribution, separate by size of the emails that are on your inbox, and generate all kind of data if needed.
You can see the email logged in, and also enable 2-step verification, but this just works for Baruwa login, and doesn't affect your email account. You can see it is also not possible to change the password through Baruwa.
NB! It is always good to check Baruwa website once every one/two weeks or if you are expecting an email and not receiving it. It might be blocked by the filter and you just need to release it.
