Opposite to what you may be used to, Metaregistrar invoices afterwards. This means that we renew the domain name on (or just before) the expiration date. We then bundle all payments we have made in a month and invoice them at the beginning of the following month.
That is also stated on the invoice. In the above, the invoice date is in the red circle at 1 . Subsequently, at 2 , the period covered by the invoice is stated. That is therefore the month of June of 2017, while the invoice date indicates that the invoice is from the beginning of July 2017.
The description (circle 3) states the domain name and the period for which it has been extended. In this case, from June 29, 2017 to June 29, 2018. The description specifies what has been extended or purchased, a line per domain name or service.
The invoice therefore covers a period of one month. If you have more domain names that were renewed in that month, there will be several lines in the description. If no domains or other services have been renewed in a month, you will not receive an invoice.
